Memories of Gratitude ~

My dear husband and I had a beautiful day of celebrating the Memorial Tradition of decorating graves. It was a beautiful day, and it felt so good to get out in the sunshine, take a day trip, and enjoy memories of those who have passed.

My dear husband and I had a beautiful day of celebrating the Memorial Tradition of decorating graves. It was a beautiful day, and it felt so good to get out in the sunshine, take a day trip, and enjoy memories of those who have passed.
Here are my in-laws. They are buried in Bountiful, Utah. Actually, our Cemetery plots are located there too. I have many fond memories of these two beautiful individuals. They were great examples to us.
Roger's father worked in the Missionary Department of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was called as the first Presiding Elder of Nigeria by President David O. McKay in the early 1960s. He visited Nigeria and taught many people about the beliefs of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latte-Day Saints. He was unable to stay in the country for long, because of political upheaval. He was assigned to communicate with the people in Nigeria that wanted more information about the church and desired missionaries to come.
Dad and Mom Williams also presided over the Baton Rouge, Louisiana mission for 3 years. Later in 1981, they served a mission in Nigeria and Ghana. One of their assignments was to look for some of those individuals that he had corresponded with. We have a history full of fantastic experiences. They have left a legacy of love, service, and Missionary work.
We next drove into the Salt Lake City Cemetery to place flowers on the graves of Roger's Sister Marilyn and her husband, Don Brady. We found their graves quickly. That cemetery is very extensive.
I loved Don and Marilyn so much. They were an outstanding couple. I always looked at Marilyn as a sister that I never had. They were both extremely talented in remodeling homes and decorating. They loved to serve others and were always busy in their ward assignments.
One of our favorite places visit is in the area where I was born and raised until 13 years of age. We lived in Richfield, Utah. My Dad was raised in Sigurd, Utah, by his Grandmother.
My dear parents are buried in Sigurd. This is a relatively small Cemetery that years ago was just dirt. It now has grass. I was a little sad to see that Cemetery isn't cared for very well, but it at least has grass.
I remember, as a child, that my brothers would mow the lawn clippings, and then these would be spread over the graves to make it look suitable for Memorial day along with the flowers placed there. This was a yearly tradition.
I miss my parents so much, and being there was an emotional moment for me. I am so grateful to know that I will see them again and that we are an eternal family. My parents were the best ever. They were so good to me. I was the youngest and the only girl, so I was spoiled by them all.
I have also lost both my brothers, Mac and John. Also, my sister in law. Amparo. I have one dear sister in law, Gloria left, and I love her so much and feel happy that I can still visit and talk with her.
The photo above was taken at this Cemetery. The monument is made out of the rocks from an old rock church in Sigurd. I love the plaque that explains it all.
My Grandpa Herbert and my Grandmother, Maggie Gledhill, and their two- year old son, Max, are buried here, also. I didn't know either of them. My Uncle Max died at age two of pneumonia, two years later, my Dad, Millan, was born. Five months later, my Grandmother, Maggie, died of Bright's disease. Several months later, my Grandpa, Herbert, joined the army during the 1st World War. He was sent to France and was killed in the trenches on June 13, 1917. My Grandpa remains were buried initially in a temporary grave and then later relocated to another site in France. Eventually, his body was brought home and buried in Sigurd. My father was then left as an orphan at the age of 18 months. My Dad was then raised by his Grandparents;
Knowing that my Grandfather gave his life for our country and others has always helped me have a love for this great Nation and the freedoms we have fought for.
Next, we drove to Monroe, Utah, to decorate the grave of my Uncle Kirtley and Aunt Alene Bell. My Aunt Alene is my Mother's baby sister. My Uncle Kirtley served in the 2nd World  War and fought in battles in Germany and England. He was away from his sweet wife for three years. Their first baby boy, Ron, was born shortly after my Uncle left.  He came home from the war on the day of my birth. I have fond memories of the many times that I stayed at my Aunt Alene's home while growing up. We were always close. She passed away last July at the age of 98.
Our next stop was back to Richfield, Utah. This is where I was born. We went to the Richfield Cemetery and placed flowers on the graves of my Uncle Bill and Aunt Della Moorhead. Della was my Mother's oldest sister. My Uncle Bill passed away first; my Aunt Della later died at the age of 100. I didn't know them as well because they lived out of the state most of the years of growing up. However, when we moved back to Utah in 2005, I was able to get to know her better. She lived in Bountiful, and I loved visiting her. I eventually wrote her history, and she was such a delight to know. She told me such fun stories of growing up and shared details about my Mom that I didn't know. I felt so sad about her passing.
We then put flowers on my Grandma Dora and Grandpa Ernest Peterson's grave. I loved my dear Grandma so much. I spent many hours with her. She told me many stories about being a nurse in Richfield, and that is what gave me the desire to be one too. She lost her first husband, Ernest to, the flu in 1922. When he passed away, they had three little girls; Della, age 8, Leone (my mother), age 5, and Alene, age 3. He was a farmer and had been helping take care of his Uncle and Aunt's farm. They all had the flu. He then came down with it, and all of the family got it. My Mom remembers having blood coming from their ears. He developed the complication of pneumonia and passed away. He said goodbye to them all and then told them he could see a beautiful place, and his mother was there. His Mom had passed away a couple of months before he did. It was such a testimony to this little family of the spirit world and knowing that there was life after death.
My Grandmother became a nurse to support the family and then married my step Grandpa Ogden years later, and Grandpa Charles Ogden was the only Grandpa that I knew and loved dearly.

Our last stop was at the gravesite of my Great Grandpa Thomas and Grandma Lillie Mae Gledhill.
Growing up, I didn't know the Gledhill side very well. My Dad was raised by his maternal Grandmother McMillan. While there, I noted that I had a Great Uncle's headstone. Following a little research, I found an incredible history of my Great Grandparents.
I have experienced great delight in knowing more about my ancestors. Their lives and how they lived them have been a great source of strength to me. Life was not easy for them. They went through plaques like now and wars. They lost loved ones at a young age. They struggled with the elements on their farms and ranches. I find their faith in God and their examples of perseverance and courage under difficult circumstances to be remarkable. I thanks them for their examples of love and service.
We loved to show our respect for the lives they lived by decorating their graves.
Have a beautiful Memorial Day, everyone!

My Precious Mom - Happy Mother's Day~

Happy Mother's Day to my precious Mother, Leone Peterson Gledhill~
My dearest Mother passed away on August 27, 2006. She was ninety years old and was living with us at the time. My Dad had passed away in October 2001. My mom missed him so much, and I feel such comfort knowing they are together forever. Meanwhile, my own two brothers have both passed away along with a special sister in law.
Since it is Mother's day, I want to focus on loving Mother. My mother is a daughter of God, and I know that she lived a good life worthy of being with my Dad and brothers forever. We were sealed as a family on March 23, 1957. My Dad and Mother loved the temple and kept their covenants, and I know that they are happily serving in the spirit world in great anticipation of the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. These thoughts provide great comfort.  Missing them is hard; I grieve often.
I thought I would share with you through poetry what kind of loving woman she was. She loved to write poetry and was good at it. She also loved to serve others and was always doing something for someone.
Kind Thoughts For Each Day by Leone P. Gledhill
Monday
Is there someone you know who's lonely
And you haven't seen for a while?
Let them know that they're thought-about
with a call, a word, or a smile.
Tuesday
Don't neglect the chance today
to do some kindly act
or pay a little compliment
With thoughtfulness and tact.
Wednesday
This is a day for forgetting
Yesterday's cares, and it's strife.
This is a day for remembering,
The joys and the blessings of life.
Thursday
Think of a friend, who's in trouble
Is there some little thing you and do?
If there's nothing else, then offer a prayer.
From a heart that's sincere and true.
Friday
Today should be just for your loved ones,
Find some little way of expressing;
The thought that their love will always be
Life's greatest and sweetest blessing.
Saturday
You may have cares and duties,
There are dozens of things to be done.
But don't let the day come to an end,
Without some laughter and fun.
Sunday
This is a day of rejoicing,
For thinking of God above.
Arise and give thanks for the blessings,
Of his deep and abiding love.

May these little thoughts from the heart of a friend,
Bring joy to your week from its start to its end.

Here's My Mom's Testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I want to bear my testimony to our children and grandchildren. I  know that our Heavenly Father lives and that He hears and answers our prayers. I know that our Savior JesusChrist loves us, and through the power of the Atonement, we can repent and come unto him and be resurrected and receive Eternal Life with our loved ones.
I know that Joseph Smith was a true Prophet and that the Book of Mormon is true.
Our prophet President Gordan B. Hinckley, who we have at the head of our Church today, will be able to bring many people into our Church. He is a true prophet of God.
We are so happy that we were able to go to the temple and have Mac, John and LeAnn sealed to us, and I am happy that I was able to be sealed to my Mother and Father on that day also. It was a special day for us, John was baptized for about 15 people that day, and Mac was a witness. LeAnn was especially happy; she was 7 years old and looking forward to her Baptism when she would be 8 in November.
I have seen the power of the Priesthood so many times. I am so grateful for our wonderful children, Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren, and my two special sisters and their families.
I hope and pray that all of our family will be able to go to the temple and be sealed so that we can all be together in the hereafter. I am so grateful that we were called to be missionaries in the Cove Fort Mission. It was a special experience for us. We met so many wonderful people and were able to bare our testimonies often to them of the truthfulness of the Church.
I am grateful for my pioneer heritage and for the sacrifice they made that we might have the gospel in our lives today.
I am grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and thankful for all the many blessings that we have received it.

In The Name Of Jesus Christ, Amen

My final thoughts on my special Mother.

Mom, thanks for having me and giving me a chance to live on this beautiful earth filled with endless opportunities.
Thanks, mom, for the many times I heard the record playing of the Book. Of Mormon and I love it too.
Thanks for your testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints which help strengthen mine.
Thanks, Mom and Dad for loving the temple, because Roger and I love The temple too.
Thanks, Mom, for the many hours you spent sewing me dresses and clothes through the years. Your dresses were so much better than anything store-bought. I know you sewed into the wee hours of the night to make a dress for every special occasion. Most of all I loved my beautiful wedding dress and the lace dress I wore on my wedding day. I love you for this.
Thanks for every time I went to the girl's camp, I came home to my bedroom furniture repainted, or my room painted again.
Thanks, Mom and Dad for the many times I came to you with struggles And you listened to my heart.
Thanks, Mom and Dad for loving to dance together and sing together; it helped me love music and dancing; I witnessed first time the love you had for each other, and it helped me, love, even more. I remember so well the last dance you had with Dad at the care center, and then he danced with me, that's a forever memory.
Thanks, Mom, for coming to take care of me whenever I had a new baby. You helped for beyond any thanks I could ever give.
Thanks for enduring through a lot of difficulties in life, teaching me that I can do it too.

A special shoutout to my awesome Daughter's and Daughter in laws and Granddaughter in laws; wishing for you an extra fantastic Mother's Day Celebration. We love you!

Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful mother's out there. I believe that all women are mothers in some way, even if they don't bare children. I am grateful for all the special women through the years that have touched my life. I have observed through the years, their lovely care for others. They are our mothers, daughters, sisters, friends, teachers, nurses, and etc.  Have a blessed day, everyone!

Quarantine Cabin Fever, and An Antique Singer ~

All of us have had our lives turned upside down with the Covid 19. Many of our activities have been canceled. We had a spectacular Stake Relief Society Event planned for March17th, and Our Stake Relief Society Presidency had to postpone it. My husband and I were working in the Jordan River Temple, and then all temples were closed throughout the world
We have three grandchildren serving missions. Our Grandson, Elder Michael Adamson, was released from his mission three months early from the Spanish speaking, Lubbock, Texas Mission. Then our Granddaughter,, Sister Taylor Jo, Williams, was brought home from New Zealand after just starting her mission. We now have our Granddaughter, Sister Abilene Workman, serving in the Phoenix, Arizona mission while under Quarantine. There are some miracle stories as thousands of missionaries from the US serving throughout the world were brought home.

Here's what we have been up to since being in Quarantine. On March 22, We celebrated our Granddaughter, Alyssa's 16th birthday. We had a grand moment with them all. This is the last family event we had before the slow down in our lives.

Our Granddaughter, Sariah, is living with us. She was attending Utah State University and came down to our home to finish up her classes online. She is not working right now, and I can assure you staying with her Grandparents has been a challenge for her. On a lovely spring day, we took Sariah up to the Quirrah Mountain Temple. It was such a beautiful day to be out and about.
We then had a low key Easter Celebration. We were able to stay home and hold our own church Sacrament meeting. My husband has the Priesthood Authority do this sacred ordinance. It was actually a very sacred and spiritual moment. We do this each week, and we sing hymns and are assigned messages to prepare. Our Granddaughter is an accomplished pianist who brings joy to our hearts as she plays for us.

Here are photos of me hanging out with our Sammy on one of those Sabbath days - Then  Sariah having a moment with our Fur Baby.
Project Protect is a challenge to make 5 Million Medical Grade Masks for Health Care Workers in Utah by Intermountain Health Care and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Charities. Our Stake Relief Society Presidency was asked to initiate this in our Stake. I decided to join in making these Masks. I don't sew much, and I don't have a sewing machine. It was given to my daughter. However, in our storage, we have an old Singer Sewing Machine of my Mothers. I was sure that it would work, but a little nervous that it wouldn't. My husband brought it upstairs and did research on how old it was.
We found out it was made in 1936. On eBay, it is worth around $2000.00.  The miracle is that it worked perfectly.
I had picked up 100 pre-cut masks, and the first day it took me several hours to complete about 33. I only had 2 days to do this. Therefore, my sweet husband and our wonderful Granddaughter joined in and helped by pinning the fabric and etc. It was a fantastic effort, and I loved being able to complete it. Many sisters in our Stake contributed, and the first week one million masks were made in our area. I think that is another miracle.
Our next adventure out of our cabin occurred on Saturday, April 25. The weather was lovely. It's been cold, and this was one of the first days of warming up. We drove to Heber City, Utah, and had a picnic at the park. We were able to keep social distancing, and it was perfect to be out for a while.
My husband has been working hard on our yard and putting in a garden box. Here is our Sammy watching him closely.
My dearest husband finally got me into the dirt, helping with our garden. This is a miracle. I have PTSD when it comes to dirt. As a child, I worked in the potatoes fields on my Dad's farm. I worked side by side with Navajo Workers. They were awesome, but I didn't enjoy picking potatoes in the dirt at all.
The truth is, I would go off and play. Favorite things to do: be a cowgirl, like Calamity Jane or watch ants building their hills. These are such precious memories to me.

Well, what have you all been up too during this siege? I'd love some comments.
Be safe, and stay in if you can! Sending loving thoughts and hugs your way!

Our Divine Redeemer

What an unusual Easter we will experience this year. I feel in my heart that maybe it is actually an extraordinary one. Since our Prophet, President Russell M. Nelson invited us to Fast and Pray on April 10, Good Friday for the Corvid 19 to be controlled, our Caregivers to be blessed and protected, our economy to improved, and life to be normalized. The invitation was for all the world, and many faiths and others joined this fast. It was incredible to read all of the marvelous experiences that people had when fasting and praying. Many expressed that they felt peace, comfort, and awareness that indeed a loving Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ, were near and listening. I think in the last several weeks that much good has been going on in the world. People have been humbled and are now more aware of one another and have more caring hearts. Miracles have occurred, and I feel there will be even more. I ask you all to look for those daily miracles in your lives. Look for those blessings that are there just for you.

Today, I am sharing a couple of videos for you to enjoy! May the second video bring you comfort and peace in your heart and within your family.

A World Wide Fast on Good Friday - Palm Sunday Moments - News On Our Missionary Grandchildren

A video of the Savior entering the city of Jerusalem on Palm Sunday
Palm Sunday is celebrated by many Christian Faiths. On this past Sunday, we had our Bicentennial Celebration; 200 years since the First Vision by the Prophet Joseph Smith and the restoration of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This was the 190th Semi-Annual General Conference for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We had a marvelous weekend watching on TV, our beloved Prophet and Apostles and other church leaders give beautiful messages of hope.

A video presentation of Joseph Smith's First Vision -
We also participated in our homes what is entitled; "A Solemn Assembly." This is a very sacred practice that is usually only done when temples are dedicated and other special moments.  We wave a white handkerchief with the Hossana Shout. This is like when our beloved Savior, Jesus Christ, came into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday.
Because of the Corvid 19, all of us were in our own homes, watching or listening to this. We all stood and followed the Prophet in waving our handkerchiefs while saying these sacred words.  We have 16 plus million members that we pray were also experiencing this beautiful moment.
Our Prophet issued a request to all members of the church and an invitation to the world to fast and pray on April 10th, Good Friday. I am sending out this message to all that might read it as an invitation to fast and pray with us. I believe President Nelson is the Prophet to the world. We hope many faiths will join us on this day's fasting and prayer
Here is the quote from our Prophet: "Let us unite in pleading for healing throughout the world. Good Friday would be the perfect day to have our Heavenly Father and His Son Hear us!... Let us prayerfully plead...that the present Pandemic might be controlled, caregivers protected, the economy strengthened, and life normalized."

We were much blessed by hearing the conference messages, and our hearts were lifted, and our minds inspired. Our faith in our Heavenly Father and our Redeemer were increased. May many fast and pray so that our prayers will be answered.

I have many treasured friends that I love throughout the world that I am praying for. I know that it is a challenge for all of us to Stay Home and Stay Safe. You are in our prayers, and we are grateful for you all.

We have our Granddaughter, Sariah, living with us right now. She returned from her full-time mission in Sacramento, California last July. She was going to Utah State University, and then it was closed due to the virus. We are happy to have her with us. With her positive attitude, she brings great joy into our home. The sad thing is that she has a boyfriend that she isn't able to see since we have the stay at home directive.
We have had 3 grandchildren that have been on missions for our church. Our Granddaughter, Sister Taylor Jo W. came home last night from the Wellington, New Zealand mission. She was saddened to leave because she had just barely started. However, she will decide on whether she returns or is reassigned to an area in the United States once the Pandemic gets better.
We have had thousands of missionaries brought home due to Corvid 19. We are saddened to have this happen, but it was prophesied many years ago by the Prophet Brigham Young. At this point, not all missionaries have been brought home. Many are still doing work in their own home countries.  It was also prophesied that temples would close for a time, this was given at the dedication of the Salt Lake Temple by Wilford Woodruff.

Our Grandson, Elder Michae A., will return tomorrow from the Spanish Speaking Lubbock, Texas Mission. He is released after serving 21 months in the mission field. It's 3 months earlier due to the Pandemic. We are so proud of the great work he has done while in the mission field.
He has touched many hearts, taught and baptized several individuals and families.

We have a granddaughter, Sister Abilene W.  that is currently serving in the Phonix, Arizona mission. She has been on her mission since February and is quarantined in her apartment with her companion. Their missionary endeavors are now online. We love reading her faith-filled emails each week. I'm so proud of the work she is doing.

We are looking forward to the time that we can again mix with our friends and neighbors. Meanwhile, we will do all we can to prevent more spread of this dreadful virus. We are praying for all the world to be healed and life to be healthy again. I have enjoyed reading many marvelous stories of the generosity and love for one another, that is the result of his present struggle. Hearts are being softened and turning towards our Savior. There is much good in the world, and we are watching that come to pass daily. We do pray for our Health Care workers, who are on the front lines. We have Nephews and Nieces and our son James who are in the medical field and fighting to save lives. May we all pray for them.

Stay Home - Stay Safe- You are important to me, and I'm sending prayers and hugs!

Bicentennial Celebration of The First Vision of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints - April General Conference~

This weekend, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints celebrates the 200 year Anniversary of the First Vision received by the Prophet of the Restoration, Joseph Smith. This is an exciting time for the members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and also many that are not of our faith. We believe in Prophets, Seers, and Revelators, as found in the original church established by our beloved Savior, Jesus Christ. We believe that our Prophet, President Russell M. Nelson, is a Prophet to the world and also our twelve Apostles. This last year we have been preparing for this celebration. Our Prophet told us last year that this would be an unusual celebration. With the present Pandemic, it is going to be very unique. This weekend is our 190th Annual General Conference that will be televised throughout the world. Here is a link to this conference. Tune in and hear our Prophet and Apostles speak. You will find direction, comfort, and peace from the messages that will be given. There will be beautiful music from The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square that has been pre-recorded for this event since it will be held remotely through the gift of media.

The First Vision - Now You Know~

This video gives an overview of the First Vision and should answer any questions you might have.

Many years ago, We received a copy of a Poem entitled, "The Calling" by Michael T. Hurst from his Uncle. It had a profound effect on my husband and me. I pray you will feel the sweet feelings of the spirit as you read this precious poem.
Michael was in his 20's at that time and had cancer of which he later passed away. This is a heartfelt poem of the first vision that I hope you will take a moment to read.

The Calling By Michael T. Hurst
Hyrum’s brother in the morning
Ere the sun caused cock to crow,
Arose from sleep and lit a candle
And read the Bible by its glow.
His young heart was deeply troubled,
Greatly burdened by his plight,
For he wondered, more than most men,
Which of all the sects was right?
Then from James a partial answer
Struck his mind like hammer blows
And drove itself into his bosom;
‘Ask of God’, said ancient prose.

From the cabin, through the barnyard,
Strode the lad with easy grace.
Past the plowed fields, newly seeded,
To a predetermined place,
Nestled deep in yonder forest,
Cuddled in a womb of green,
Looking back and all around him –
Only shadows; he’s unseen.
Filtered through the shimmering treetops.
Morning sunlight gilt the youth
And kneeling humbly in its aura,
Joseph prayed to learn the truth.

Suddenly bright skies were blackened,
A great thick darkness gathered round,
While evil powers, frenzied, fighting,
Bound the lad and stopped his sound.
Never yet such awesome power,
Never viciousness so real,
Never loomed such great destruction
As the lad was caused to feel,
Urgent prayer was nigh abandoned,
Almost squelched by evil might,
When rescue came in one bright instant;
Blackness was dispelled by light.

What a shaft of glorious brilliance
Blessed the forest there that day.
As all eternity rang an answer
To the boy who went to pray.
Flee, the denizens of darkness,
From the presence of a greater one,
One whose sacred luminescence
Dims the glory of the sun.
Standing tall in might and glory,
In the air, o’er forest sod,
Above him, speaking, introducing,
Joseph saw the face of God.

God the Father, great, eternal,
Glorious, yet much like man,
Calling once again a prophet,
To reveal the gospel plan;
God the Father, great, eternal,
With his own Beloved Son,
Son and Sire, both stood together,
Glory, countenance, all as one.
“Joseph, this is My Beloved,
Hear Him,” and so Joseph heard
God’s predicted declaration
Of men’s departure from his word.

“Joseph!” ‘Twas the voice of thunder,
Yet was kind and filled his soul.
And he listened to the Firstborn.’
Who revealed to him his role.
For the church of old had fallen,
Plunged to darkness from its light;
But with guidance from the heavens,
Morn could break up the night.
Morn, as when the rosy day-dawn,
Maturing, Love breaks exuberant ray;
And the shouting voice of sunlight,
Conquering, holds the night at bay.

Thus the light the Lord was giving;
Guidance was, for years ahead;
Knowledge to restore salvation,
For the living and the dead.

Joseph faced long years of struggle,

Years of toil, and prayer and tears;
Years of Kirtland, Nauvoo, Carthage,
Persecution; hell’s fires fed,
Ere he’s seen full forty seasons,
Years that leave young Joseph dead.

But he felt exhilaration,
Wonder, reverence, worship, awe;
All his life would be a witness
To the truth of what he saw.
Then the vision, closing, left him
Lying limpid, in the wood.
Having heard God’s great assignment,
He would do it as he should.
Then rising, moving, through the shadows.
Joseph stepped into the sun,
And a prophet walked the pathways
Where a little boy had run.

We can all have a personal relationship with our Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ. I thought I would share this beautiful music, Entitled: "My Own Sacred Grove by Anie Killian
May you all take a moment and tune into our conference and see and hear the voice of our living Prophet of today and the twelve Apostles. Here you will receive direction, comfort and peace received as a revelation from Jesus Christ. If you have an open heart you will feel the spirit testify that what is spoken is true.
Have a special weekend, stay home and be safe. Love to you all!

A Message Of Hope and An Invitation To Fast and Pray For the World -

We are all experiencing difficult times right now with this Pandemic. I have a great love for humanity and as this continues on, I am amazed at the many who are caring, giving, and loving their neighbors as we should. Being a nurse by profession, I know how hard and dangerous it is to be on the front lines in this fight against this plague of our day, the Corvid-19.
One thing I do know is that we have a loving Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ that love us and as we reach for them, there is hope.
Our living Prophet today is President Russell M. Nelson. He is the Prophet to the world and here is a beautiful message of hope from him. Millions have listened to this and they have found hope in his words. I pray you will listen too.

Our beloved Prophet was a world renowned Cardiovascular Surgeon. He then became one of the twelve Apostles in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He has an amazing life story. I know he is a true prophet that receives revelation from our redeemer, Jesus Christ. He is 95 years old and has not slowed down at all. In fact, the last couple of years, he has traveled the world to visit the members of our church. This is a worldwide church with there are members throughout the world.
Here is an invitation to us all to Fast and Pray for relief from this devastating virus that is flooding the earth. Join us in fasting and prayer this Sunday, March 29th.

Next weekend on April 4th & 5th is our semiannual General Conference. It can be viewed in many different ways. Here is the link to the YouTube channel it will be on.
https://www.youtube.com/user/LDSGeneralConference/featured
We were told by our Prophet in last October Conference that this one would be a historic conference to remember. He asked us to prepare for this conference by studying about the Restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints though  articles, podcasts and videos. During these two days we will receive messages of hope and council from our Prophet, 12 Apostles and other leaders.
All are invited to tune into this great conference.
If interested in understanding the Restoration of the Church here is another wonderful video.

May you all know you are in my prayers. Not just my family and friends, but all of you that live in this wonderful world. Enjoy and find hope!!
