Our faith is very involved in Humanitarian projects. Whenever anything happens in the world, faithful members are involved in helping. This would include natural disasters, refugees, the homeless and etc. I find it amazing how much has been done for so many throughout the world through charitable organizations.
Our world and our nation have many problems having good attitudes towards others and helping one another during difficult times.
Many mental illnesses, homelessness, and other disabilities need extra help from Charitable groups or individuals.
My husband and I currently serve in a position as JustServe.org specialists. Our role is to help the Justserve.org website platform become more recognized and encourage everyone, individuals, families, and groups to register, and then use this website to find service opportunities. There are many charitable projects listed all over the world.
Recently, in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the General Relief Society Presidency has challenged everyone to get involved in registering for this site and finding a service project to do.
Here is the invitation!
Sister
Eubank issued a personal invitation for how women can each celebrate Relief
Society this month:
1. Create a
free account on JustServe.org.
2. Invite one friend to register on JustServe.org.
3. During the next 30 days, find a project in your community on JustServe.org and complete it with someone
you love.
Sister Eubank said she would be doing the same and asked others to use the
hashtag #JustServe on social media to share their stories. If someone lives in
an area where JustServe is not active yet, she invited them to
still do a local service project and post about it.
"What better way to honor its mission of extending the pure love of Jesus
Christ into the world than by joining a service project in your community?" she
wrote.
Relief Society General President Jean B. Bingham, and
Sister Reyna I. Aburto, Second
Counselor, echoed the invitation on their own social media pages, as well.
"Relief Society sisters have enormous potential to do good in the world. Join
us this month as we celebrate 180 years of Relief Society by serving in our
local communities," wrote Sister Aburto.

My husband and I are heading down to the Gale Miller Resource Center and volunteering for 2 hours in serving food to the homeless. We are excited to do this project.
There are many projects to suit many different circumstances. There are quite a few for doing a project at home. They are set up for individuals, groups, and families. This website is for everyone to use wherever it is found. It's for all people regardless of faith, nationality, and culture. It is excellent for faith groups, communities, and organizations.
