A Message Of Hope and An Invitation To Fast and Pray For the World -
We are all experiencing difficult times right now with this Pandemic. I have a great love for humanity and as this continues on, I am amazed at the many who are caring, giving, and loving their neighbors as we should. Being a nurse by profession, I know how hard and dangerous it is to be on the front lines in this fight against this plague of our day, the Corvid-19.
One thing I do know is that we have a loving Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ that love us and as we reach for them, there is hope.
Our living Prophet today is President Russell M. Nelson. He is the Prophet to the world and here is a beautiful message of hope from him. Millions have listened to this and they have found hope in his words. I pray you will listen too.
Our beloved Prophet was a world renowned Cardiovascular Surgeon. He then became one of the twelve Apostles in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He has an amazing life story. I know he is a true prophet that receives revelation from our redeemer, Jesus Christ. He is 95 years old and has not slowed down at all. In fact, the last couple of years, he has traveled the world to visit the members of our church. This is a worldwide church with there are members throughout the world.
Here is an invitation to us all to Fast and Pray for relief from this devastating virus that is flooding the earth. Join us in fasting and prayer this Sunday, March 29th.
Next weekend on April 4th & 5th is our semiannual General Conference. It can be viewed in many different ways. Here is the link to the YouTube channel it will be on.
https://www.youtube.com/user/LDSGeneralConference/featured
We were told by our Prophet in last October Conference that this one would be a historic conference to remember. He asked us to prepare for this conference by studying about the Restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints though articles, podcasts and videos. During these two days we will receive messages of hope and council from our Prophet, 12 Apostles and other leaders.
All are invited to tune into this great conference.
If interested in understanding the Restoration of the Church here is another wonderful video.
May you all know you are in my prayers. Not just my family and friends, but all of you that live in this wonderful world. Enjoy and find hope!!

Happy 178th Birthday of The Relief Society~ "Something Extraordinary"
Amid the turmoil in the world today, we can pause and celebrate in our hearts the 178th Birthday of the Relief Society of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It's formation occurred on March 17th, 1842
The restored Church included this fantastic organization, and we are a part of the ongoing restoration.
In the beginning days, some 178 years ago, Eliza R. Snow stated;
"The Relief Society is a restoration of an ancient pattern - although the name may be of modern date the institution is of ancient origin. We were told by our martyred prophet that the same organization existed in the Church anciently".
In the book; "Daughters of the Kingdom" it says; "Besides Joseph Smith, other latter-day prophets have testified that the organization of Relief Society is an inspired part of the restoration, whereby women in the Church are called to ecclesiastical positions to serve one another and to bless the entire Church."
As we participate in Relief Society, we serve as valiant disciples of Jesus Christ in the work of salvation.
Our Savior, Jesus Christ, is our perfect example of how to minister to others. He was always interested in the one. One by one, Christ listened to, taught, healed, loved, nurtured, and wept with those He came in contact with. As we minister in this period, may we indeed be disciples of Christ and do as he would have us do.
This is the exact time for us to step up and minister by making sure our assigned sisters, neighbors, and friends are temporally well and spiritually uplifted. This can be done with visits, phone calls, and etc. Now is the time to reach out to the lonely and others who are struggling. Let them know you care.
May the Spirit of the Holy Ghost reside within your heart and mind and guide you in this great work.
We, as sisters in the gospel, can be found doing extraordinary things. I love this quote by Emma Smith, "President Emma smith remarked we are going to do something extraordinary. When a boat is stuck on the rapids with a multitude of Mormons on board, we shall consider that a loud call for relief. We expect extraordinary occasions and pressing calls."

Now is the time to arise and minister to those in need and answer this urgent call of helping and loving one another.
We are the largest women's organization in the world. There are 7.1 million members, just think of the good we can do at this very moment.
I have a powerful testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love the Prophet Joseph Smith and his beloved wife, Emma, and so many others who gave their lives in this great cause.
We have a Prophet, President Russell M. Nelson, who I sustain and love along with each of our individual Apostles. I know that they are receiving direct revelation from our loving Savior, Jesus Christ, to help us navigate through the difficult days ahead.
I know The Book of Mormon is true and exists as a powerful source of personal revelation and inspiration for each day, and in this day of need.
I am grateful for the Temples that dot the earth, and I know that those on the other side of the veil are near to help us, too, as we help them. Right now, while our temples are closed except for living ordinances, we can double our efforts in Family History.
I am thankful for prayer and the knowledge and testimony of having receiving answers to prayer and personal revelation when needed.
The Priesthood has been restored to the earth to benefit all mankind. Right now that Priesthood can be used to comfort, heal, and bless our lives.
What a sacred moment it was this past Sabbath Day to have the Sacrament in our homes due to no meetings being held.
I know I have a loving Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ. I testify that they know us and love us all. All individuals throughout the world are children of loving Heavenly Parents.
May we serve and love one another and prepare for the eventual coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
May we pray for leaders of the world and for our beloved Leaders in our Church. May we be a Zion people and care for one another.
Sending mighty prayers for all that we can look forward to better days to come.

It Is Celebration Time!
Since it is Valentine's Day, I will write a little bit about love. There are many things in this beautiful world that I love. I like this day of celebration because love is in the air. Because of love, the month of February is a favorite. I genuinely have a love for many; the list is long. I love with all my heart, my husband, our children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, treasured friends through the years, and of course, my Sammy. You got to love those fur babies.
I love my Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ, and I know our Heavenly Parents love each of us with an infinite love because we are their children. Our Savior is our elder brother who cares for us because He gave His life for us so we might live again, and if we follow Him, we can return to them.
I thought I would share today some extra verses to a beloved hymn entitled: "Love One Another." My dearest husband wrote these two verses years ago. They have been sung in different states that we have lived and places throughout the world as our children have served missions and lived in various areas. This is taken from scripture, where the Savior asked us all to love one another as He loves us.
Love One Another
It's a celebration time. I am celebrating 10 years of blogging. I'm celebrating that I am back writing a blog post again. I love to write, make graphics, and read blogger's posts. I enjoy blogging about Home, Family, Activities and my Beliefs.
As you may have noted, I haven't been writing much, and I haven't been reading favorite friend's posts. I feel sad about that. I have been busy with many things and just have let some of my favorite things go by the wayside. Blogging has been one of them. I'm hoping to get back to writing again.
May you all know that I hope you feel loved by one or many tomorrow and always. I know when one feels loved, it has a powerful effect on our lives.
Love and hugs for all!

Love One Another
As I have loved you, love one another
This new commandment love one another
By this shall men know, ye are my disciples
If ye have love one to another.
Ye have my gospel, share with a brother
Ye are my Shepherds, feed on another.
Care for the stranger, love as the Messiah,
Then ye shall know joy of the Father.
Someday you'll see me if you endeavor
Then you will know me; we'll walk together.
If you obey me, here then is my promise;
I'll come to you, you're mine forever.

Wishing You A Warm, and Memorable Christmas!
May these Christmas thoughts let you know how much I genuinely love each and every one of you blogging friends, loved ones, and those who just drop by. I have enjoyed almost 10 years of blogging, and only in these last few months struggled with finding time to write.
However, this Christmas Season means a lot to me, and I know it is because I love my Savior Jesus Christ with all my heart and soul and desire that others might know and feel His divine love for each of you.
Today, I include two videos from an extraordinary little one; Claire Crosby that has become quite well known over the last few years. I have the privilege of knowing Claire's mother, Ashley, as a young girl. She was in our church ward, and I was her activity day leader. I loved her as a young girl and saw her potential. To see her little family now is so sweet. Claire's grandmother and great grandmother are also special friends of mine that have touched my heart in many ways.
The first video is of Claire having the special moment with our beloved Prophet, President Russell M. Nelson. President Nelson is 95 years old, and he is accompanying her as she sings, "Silent Night." I know this was a treasured moment in Claire and her family's lives.
Upper Left Roger & LeAnn –Middle; Jeffery, Sean, Mary, Joshua – Right; Grandson, Jacob, Dana, Katalina, Sagan – Middle Left; Amanda, Ryley, Kason, Karli, Friend, Haven, and Layton – Middle Right; James, Taylor Jo, Averi, Amber – Lower Left; Levi, Brandon, Christine, April, Faith, Sariah, Abbey – Lower Middle; Ben, Alyssa, Emma, Michael, Jenni – Lower Right: Kaitlyn, Sarah, Tiffani, Dave, William. Roger and I are thankful for our opportunity to continue serving as ordinance workers in the Jordan River Temple. Roger teaches the 7-year-olds In Primary. I continue to work in the Stake Relief Society Presidency. We aren’t sure that there is the word retire because we are busier than ever with Friends, Family, callings, and temple.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to each of you! We treasure our many friendships. We have many fond memories.

"#Light The World With Love"
Each year The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints presents the a #Light The World Initiative. Everyday during the Christmas Season, we receive ideas on how we personally can light the world by doing acts of kindness. It is such a fun thing to do.
I have always loved the Christmas Season and the Traditions that surround it. I love the time to worship and remember the sacred and divine birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. He is the light and hope of the World. He loves each and everyone of us and desires that we return again to live with Him and our Heavenly Parents. #Because of Him, We will all be resurrected and through our choices in life we can learn of Him, Follow Him and Be Saved by Him.
Today, I am sharing with you a beautiful video of the Nativity. It is a true portrayal of what the scriptures teach of His Birth. Take a moment and watch this; you will be happy you did.
Have a marvelous week of preparing for your own Christmas Celebration. Hugs for all!

Gratitude For The Glorious Plan of Salvation~
This Thanksgiving Season, I have sincere gratitude for the Glorious Plan of Salvation ~
Having this knowledge and testimony of our Father in Heaven's plan for me and for us all is built upon our beloved Brother and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Here are the elements of this beautiful plan:
We lived as spirit children of loving Heavenly Parents in the Pre-mortal life. This answers the question of where did I come from?
Your life did not begin at birth, nor will it end at death. You are made up of a spirit body (sometimes called the soul) and a physical body. Heavenly Father created your spirit, and you lived with Him as a spirit before you were born on earth. You knew and loved Him, and He knew and loved you. This period is called pre-earth life. (Plan of Salvation Pamphlet, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.org).
Here is the video that will explain: Where did we come from? Why are we here on earth? And where do we go after we leave after this life? We’ve all asked these questions hoping to discover the purpose of life.
Because of this plan, I have even a deeper love for my Savior, Jesus Christ, and His Atonement. The Atonement is central to this Plan of Redemption.
Life has many challenges. Part of our purpose here is to experience life with all it's intricate twists and turns. These tests will ultimately help us to grow and progress. We are promised that we will also experience great joy while on this sojourn on earth. I am grateful for the joy that I feel as I strive to follow my path back to my Heavenly Parents.
Great joy comes from the blessings of a family. As I was sealed to my eternal companion in the temple forever, the family that came to us is sealed to us for eternity. This doesn't guarantee our place in the Celestial Kingdom unless we follow the Savior and His teachings and make and keep covenants with Heavenly Father. We have the gift of agency to choose the path we will take. I'm am grateful this day for the blessing of knowing that I can be with my family forever if we follow the plan.
A sweet moment with my Eternal Love~
Our Family Fun This Summer~
Birthday Moments with our oldest son and his family ~
Extra Special times with our daughters and Granddaughters ~
Precious seconds with my Beautiful Great Grandchildren~
Our Fur Baby, Sammy
I am especially grateful for family. Often we have received our greatest blessings through our family even our extended family. Some of our family members; parents, siblings, and others that have gone before us. All family members have richly blessed our lives and I am grateful for each of them.
In life, we cross paths with many people who are our spirit brothers and sister's some of them become our closest friends. I am thankful for them all.
Our 55th High School Class Reunion Celebration~ Many Forever Friends
A celebration for this precious family. Aurea became Citizen of the United States -
More fun times with these great friends.
A treasured Birthday Celebration with my best friend, Toni~
We are also blessed with the scriptures that help us know how to follow the covenant path that we walk with our Redeemer. Finally, there is prayer. Prayer is key in communicating with our Heavenly Father. Through prayer, we are helped here on earth by the Spirit of the Holy Ghost and ministering angels from both sides of the veil. I believe in prayer and have had many profound answers and miracles wrought through prayer. I have a thankful heart that I can always communicate with my Heavenly Father anytime, anywhere.
Some of my most special moments come as I serve my Heavenly Father in our temples. I find great peace, answers to prayers, and many other feelings of deep joy while being in our Father's house.
We love our moments in this temple - The Jordan RiverTemple~
Serving in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint by serving others is one of my sweet blessings. I have a great love for all those individuals that cross my path. One of the best parts of our Heavenly Father's plan of Happiness is we are promised that everyone that has lived on this earth will have the opportunity to accept or reject this plan either here or in the Spirit World.
Sending loving thoughts and hugs to all my friends, blogging friends and family. It's been a while since I have blogged and I have missed you all.
May Everyone have a spectacular Thanksgiving Celebration with Friends and Family. Have a grateful heart, and you will feel greater peace and joy.
Always remember you have a loving Heavenly Father and our Savior, Jesus Christ. You are a Child of God.
