I recently taught a lesson in Relief Society on The Woman At The Well. I recognized that I feel like the woman at the well. I want the living water. I have always enjoyed studying the scriptures, reading many books by LDS Church authors and I find that I continue to desire for more and more understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have a strong and abiding testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know that we have a living Prophet on the earth today. I am forever grateful for the testimony I have of the restoration of the gospel by the Prophet Joseph Smith. I love Emma Smith and the many sacrifices that she too made during the restoration. I have great faith in the Priesthood. I have been a beneficiary of many healing blessings and have witnessed many healings of family members and others. I believe in Miracles. I love the temple and have the privileged of working as an ordinance worker. I have felt the peace there and have received revelation for my own life and feeling from the spirit. I love the Book of Mormon and in recent years have loved reading it over and over. It is our survival guide; our manual for raising our children.
I have been blessed with an Eternal Companion whom I have been married to for 42 years. He is my forever love. We have experienced many moments of trials and struggles; but we know where the source of our comfort and peace come from. We both love our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ with all of our heart and soul. We have had many prayers heard and answered.
The blessings of Children and Grandchildren are our greatest joy. We have 6 children; three boys and three girls. Our three boys and one daughter served missions. They have all been sealed in the Temple to their own eternal companions. They are all busy serving in the gospel of Jesus Christ. We have 30 grandchildren which bless our lives continually.
This blog will be a combination of thoughts, spiritual moments, many family events and just musings from me.
