Take Time To "Hear Him" ~

On Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4th, 2020, we look forward to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Semi-Annual General Conference. This is an opportunity for all the world to listen to a Living Prophet and Apostles. It is a time to receive personal direction, uplifting thoughts, and comfort from the messages delivered.
Core beliefs of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints are expressed in what is known as; "Articles of Faith". The 6th Article states: "We believe in the same aorganization that existed in the Primitive Church, namely, apostles, bprophetscpastorsdteacherseevangelists, and so forth. These offices are found within the restored church of Jesus Christ.

During the past two years, President Nelson traveled to many nations throughout the world, visiting church members; meeting also with heads of state and other faith leaders. Here is a great video documenting some of his travels.

An invitation from our Prophet:

Dear brothers and sisters,
A pandemic cannot and will not stop the Lord from embracing us. His love is constant. He never stops watching over us. He has promised that He will be on our right hand and on our left, that His Spirit will be in our hearts, and that even His angels will surround us (see Doctrine and Covenants 84:88).
You and I have a special opportunity to feel His love during the upcoming general conference on October 3 and 4. I pray that you and your family are preparing to hear the words the Lord will speak to you through His servants.
I also hope that you will prayerfully consider inviting friends and family, including those of other faiths, to watch general conference so that they too may feel the Lord’s embrace.
Sincerely,
President Russell M. Nelson

Hi!

General Conference was amazing...as always, but it seems extra special this year. Our world is in such great need of spiritual help and advise, and I can't think of a better place to get it than, general conference. President Nelson never ceases to amaze me!

I wish I could have seen you when you came up, Amber and James said they really enjoyed your visit. It's been such a strange year, hopefully things will calm down some and we can see you next time you visit!

Hugs and Love to you both!
