My First Barn Picture for Barn Charm ~

This is my first picture post for  Barn Charm.
Cheryl and Debbie I hope you will see this one. I always love seeing their weekly barn pictures. This barn picture was taken just outside of Monroe, Utah over the
 Memorial Day Weekend.
I love barn pictures because it brings back memories of my youth. In another post I will share with you some of my ranch and farm memories. Take a moment and look at all the wonderful Barn Charm pictures here.

Hi LeAnn, this is a beautiful barn! I love all the different colors of the wood in this one. Great capture!
I have a soft spot in my heart for these older barns, they make me think of the time I grew up on the farm and we had a couple of older barns like these. Then along came the metal barns and it just wasn't quite the same! I missed the hay loft, even tho I'd outgrown playing in it by the time my dad built the new one.
Have a nice Wednesday!

Great picture. I do love barn pictures. Good capture! You're very talented. Good writer, good blogger and good photographer!

My favorite barn in just out of Jackson Hole with the Tetons in the background. Of course, that's my stompin' grounds.

Have a great day! Christy

My mother would have loved this - she, too, grew up in the country and eventually got very good at painting pictures of the barns from her youth.

My mother told the story of my taking a friend with me to the stable where I rode. When we got out of the car, I said, "I love the smell of a barn." My friend wrinkled her nose and said, "I love the smell of roses."

That pretty much captured who we were!

This one looks pretty old. I too love old barns, but I never thought to take pictures of them. I guess that is because I rarely take a picture of anything or anyone, for that matter. I have to depend on Dick for that, and he too, hates taking pictures. It's a good thing some of the rest of the family take lots of them or I wouldn't have many at all.

What a lovely old barn. Thanks for sharing with us. We just got home from our Utah trip. We were in Draper for 2 days and Lehi for 2 days. The rest of the time we were in Syracuse. I was sad that I couldn't call you. I lost my cell phone that had your number in it. In our rush we probably couldn't have gotten together but I wanted to talk to you. I was sending you "hello" vibes while we were there. Did you feel the hugs coming your way as we drove past your town on the freeway??? I hope so. Hugs, Lura If you get a chance send me your phone number again. Thanks

At first glance I thought this was as barn from my home town. Certainly brought back some memories as I looked at it. Great photo. Nola

My dad had a small farm when I was growing up. He didn't really have a barn though, mostly sheds and open barns for hay. That one is beautiful.

Love those old memories. My parents both grew up on farms and....I have fond remembrances of those older barns and the hay and cows and tractors. :)

Just wanted to thank you for all the goodness and light that you share. You have always left very kind remarks on my sites and I thank you for building and uplifting! I've added your grab button to "Mormon Moms' and....your blog as one of my top guest bloggers. :) Hope that's okay. You are a blessing!
